Verification Upon Oath or Affirmation, as in depositions and affidavits, certifying that the signer personally appeared before the Notarty, was positively identified, took an oath or affirmation and signed a written statement in the Notary's presence.

Depositions, certifying that the spoken words of a witness were accurately taken down in writing. Although Notaries are authorized to take depositions.

Attesting Signatures (Signature Witnessing), certifying that a signer personally appeard before the Notary, was positively identifed and signed the document in the Notary's presence.

Oaths and Affirmations, which are solemn promises to a Supreme Being (oath) or on one's own personal honor (affirmation).

Certified Copies, certifying that a photocopy of an orginal document is true and complete.
